  • Smoking is,it causes cancer.
  • Smoking I think.
  • I think smoking is worse because it could affect an internal organ.
  • Smoking.
  • I think smoking in a similar way is more dangerous that tanning. Smoking constantly can give you lung disease, heart problems and other serious issues. Tanning in the sun, can increase in skin cancer, and other skin related problems. Smoking kills you must faster, if at a higher rate.
  • Smoking. I'm 41 & am told I have the lung capacity of a 60 year old. PLEASE if you haven't started don't because once you're addicted, it's hell to quit
  • If you are smoking you have definitely been tanning too long!
  • Put it this way, the anti-smoking lobby in the UK has had a field day with smokers and I can now report, that it is more socially acceptable to inject heroin in the middle of Tescos than it is to have a cigarette. Murdering another person now carries less of a social stigma. They have now turned their attention to patio heaters in pub gardens because they are there to keep smokers a bit warmer when outside. The entire lobby has moved from persecution and punishment to OCD about anything to do with cigarettes. Ah, the classic stereotypical 'do-gooder' - aren't they just great (would they be greater if we stuck them in a landfill and put concrete over the top).
  • I would think smoking is worse but tanning is sooooo bad! I have friends who tan and look much older than they are.
  • Smoking is worse because it can hurt not just you, but those around you. And if you are going to tell me it doesn't affect you or whatever, the smell makes me nautious and my eyes feel like they are going to burn to a crisp around cig smoke. Even if you don't believe in long term affects (which are obviously there) the immediate ones are just as irritable. Tanning...I think it's a bad idea. I try not to get burned or tanned too much because I don't need skin cancer. But my burn isn't going to cause someone besides me to get sick.
