a martyred woman who was not afraid to die while acting as a voice for her people and the country she loved. an the fact that she was such a strong female in very patriarchal islamic society makes her all the more respectable.

That she would not be kept silent! The number of times they tried to assisinate this woman, the number of times they locked her away, in solitary confinment so that no-one could hear her, and the number of times she just came back with her policies as clear and loud as ever... inspirational. Never mind the political heights she reached! So she was seen as controversial, and had to fight to be cleared of corruption charges, but she did, and won. In her words, she didn't fear death, because she didn't think it could happen unless God wanted it to, as so many people had tried. She knew her life was in danger that day, but she went anyway because she would not allow her country to be threatened. That her father and two brothers had all died violently I may not fully understand the Pakistani politics, and at times I felt that BB was perhaps too militant, but you could not fault her tenacity and faith in her country and I had huge admiration for her. A great loss for the stabilty of Pakistan and their hopes for democracy, for the Islamic community, and for world politics as a whole.

Did you see that... That was incredible.. but some are saying that she never should of climbed out the sunroof... Not that it would have made a difference. I am not sure what her legacy would be, but she was a great woman...
