If you're teasing a guy with a group of friends, and then when no one's looking he walks by and smacks you hard on the butt, does that mean he likes you or that he's mad?

It probably means he likes you. Whether being slapped on the butt is enough to make you want his bones, I can not say. However, I would smack someone somewhere else if I were mad at them.

Depends on several things: 1. How close are you to each other? If you've met only a couple of times then this is going to raise a lot of eyebrows, but if you've known each other since childhood then smacking your butt may be nothing more than a playful revenge on his part. 2. What was his mood? If he happened to be in a really foul mood when you were teasing him, the smack might be his way of saying 'try that again and you're dead, PAL.' However if he was pretty laid back, again it could be just a friendly way of getting back at you [albeit he might have hit too hard]. 3. What do you think? Frankly, only you can decide if smacking your butt was a friendly gesture or not. Some people will take offense even if their close friends smack their behinds, some will laugh it off, some won't even remember it. What may be okay for me might not be okay for you. If it's really bothersome and you can't have a good night's sleep over it, talk it out with him.

Regardless of whether he likes you or not, its not worth it. Do you really want to be with someone who follows the crowd and makes fun of people? Especialy people they like and then turn around and show interest? I think it shows a lack of class and backbone. And chances are if he smacked your butt afterwards it was part of the joke. He's not worth it, and sounds liek a jerk.

I don't think it means he's mad at all. It might mean he's a flirt who just happens to like you, though. You need to decide whether you're okay with his behaviour or not.

I think it depends, but you two must be really close for him to strike your butt like that. It's better to confirm. Try talking to him about it and apologize if you hurt him.

I think it's both. He likes u, but hates u for making fun of him. This was his way of getting back at u. Then again, if he smacked u pretty hard, it might be pure anger.
