  • Nope. Why? Because there is only one God...>>>>>ME<<<<!!!
  • That was the problem the Jews had. They were Blessed by not having a "King" dealing Direct with God. But they were Jealous of other Countries who had Kings & jumped out of the "Pan" & into the "Fire"!!! They also molded & crafted "gods" (Idols) that "Looked Good" sitting there on the mantle, but could do Nothing except get them in trouble with God!!! Maybe he would become a "god" like Nixon??? U know in his own mind??? John
  • Like many other Christian denominations (specifically the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic branches of Christianity), Mormons do believe in "theosis," the idea that man can progress to become more like God. Historically, this concept was had among the earliest Christians. Mormons believe in the Bible, which teaches: "To him that overcometh will I [Christ] grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." So we believe that we can become like God through the power of Christ, but not that we will ever be greater than God. We will always worship God the Father and Christ the Son. To use traditional Christian terminology (and not terminology that only Mormons understand), it would probably be more accurate to say that Mormons believe they can become angels in the next life (although that phrasing doesn't exactly capture Mormon belief either, and is explicitly inaccurate if one uses the Mormon definition of "angel"). It is not true that Mormons believe men and women can progress to become greater than God. We will always worship God. http://www.allaboutmormons.com
  • There is only one God and his name is not Mitt. Nor will ever be.
  • No. It will not help him become a god. Only by doing righteous things and through the atonement of Christ and the grace of God can we become more "like" God.
  • Alright, just when I think I can take a break and get back to a normal life, Latter Day Satan makes a return to answer bag with the same offensive questions. The reason it is offensive to me is I know his history of losing debate after debate and going to another part of the forum and starting the exact same time all over again, even knowing that he's lost. For that reason I am going to go around to every question he's asked about Mormonism and I am going to flag each and every one of them as offensive. I think he's done enough hate-mongering to lose the privilege of debating in the Mormon forums, and I can just hope that answerbag sees it my way.
