It will be cold, so where sweaters and take a coat. Oh, and very comfortable shoes, but preferably not tennis shoes. The French don't wear them about town so much. There is SO much to see in Paris. I love the Musee D'Orsey. You should see the Louvre, the Eiffle Tower, Notre Dame, L'Arc de Triumph, Champs Elysee, take the time to go out to Versailles. Also, just take time to walk around Paris and get the feel of the city. Don't always eat in restaurants. At least once, got to a boulangerie and get a baguette, get cheese from a cheese shop, get a bottle of wine, get some fruit and have a picnic. It will be much less expensive and will taste delicious.

If you like modern art, go to the Pompidou museum, near Notre Dame cathedral. For Impressionists, the Musee d'Orsay is best, although there are great smaller museums around town that focus on Monet and some others. If you like older art, the Louvre, although you could really spend a week in there without seeing it all. If you are interested in history, the Cluny, in the Latin Quarter, is excellent at the Middle Ages. Carnavalet, across the river and near the Pompidou, is a great free museum that is just about this history of Paris. We visited it twice our last time there. For food, I agree with scubaduba - make yourself at least one picnic lunch. Most neighborhoods have a small market area, but be aware that it can be hard to find all your food in one place - bakers have their shops, wine merchants have theirs, cheese merchants have theirs, etc.
