  • Need to use "Hijack this". but use it with extreme caution. There are forums in regard to this software to help you.
  • Well, according to experts the best you can do is to back up everything you really need, like Word or Wordperfect documents, pictures, spreadsheets (in case you have any), format the hard drive and install everything again. If you have a computer that came with a restore cd it will be simple. Your computer will end up out as the day it was the first day it came out of the box. Once you have something weird inside the system there is no way you can trust your computer. Viruses are getting very smart and who knows what else may be inside your PC.
  • Tough one to nail. Here's a site listing the known registry values that No Adware changes. http://ca.com/us/securityadvisor/pest/pest.aspx?id=453122784 If that version of No Adware is 4.0 or above, it actually DOES contain a roll back feature, allowing you to get rid of any changes it's made and remove the software. If you know your way around editing the registry, that's one possibility. I wouldn't be trying it unless you're ABSOLUTELY sure of what you're doing though. You could wind up with a fancy paper weight. The only other solution I can suggest is to contact their tech support. CNet has recently de listed that software company as a rogue, meaning that they've cleaned up their act a bit. They may offer a proper tool to remove this little bugger. ( mind you, I'm pretty sure a tool was included in a microsoft update awhile back, which...had you kept your XP up to date, you wouldn't be in this mess). Here's a link to "customer" support. http://www.noadware.net/contact_noadware.htm
  • They probably did away with the older version due to the fact to many users where crashing their PC's.
