Help answer this question below.

My Brothers step-daughter just had a baby at 15 years old. We found out today that my brothers wife, the baby's grandmother, is letting the baby suck on her breast! I think that she is mentally ill, your thoughts?

    it's perfectly possible to breast feed someone else's child and i don't think this is sick at all. the grandmother will get milk pretty quickly - as would any woman and even men (look it up, it's true) and if this is the only breast milk the baby will get then that is a really good thing. this is a baby human not a cow so avoiding bottled muck is by far the best thing to do. the thing that i would be concerned about is if the mother, as young as she is, wants to feed the baby herself then it should be her that does it. it's a really important bonding experience for mother and baby and the mother's milk is nutritionally ideal for her own baby. it would be wrong for the grandmother to take over when the mother could be doing what is natural and right for her child.

    i have no quams about breast feeding its natuaral thing in life the girl is yung but at the end of the day the baby comes first now as long gets on well in life

    OH MY GOD...ok that is really kind of sick. I mean...she's not from another country is she? lol...i didnt think so. I would be concerned. And yes, slightly mentally ill
