I wish people would proofread. It depresses me to read contributions that I could have written in second grade with more clarity and better grammar.
-
We can't change people. That's why we are allowed to moderate here. Nonsensical, unintelligible and downright rude questions can be flagged.
-
What one thinks is rude another might not. It takes all kinds to make an interesting bag.
-
I do proofread but still make occaisonal mistakes.

I CNT STAND QUESTIONS DAT R ASKD LYK DIS LYK THEY R SCREAMIN AT U N CNT SPEL N HAV NO PUNTUATION NR SPELD RONG

and this is from someone who's (almost) showing their knickers? haha! ;P I think perhaps you should cut some slack - maybe there's some spelling/grammar issues you're not aware of... and yes, sadly there are rude ones, but you're just going to have to swing round them!
-
No, it's not you..now pull your dress down.. :)

It's not just AB, it life in general. People are nonsensical, unintelligible and downright rude in real life too! Some people can't help their spelling errors or grammar...the only ones that really bug me personally are the CAPSLOCK QUESTIONS and the "1 lyk dis" uuuuughhhh.
-
It would be nice if people did check but we can all miss mistakes and for some people English is a second language. Rude questions or those slanted toward a particular view or denigrating another ethnicity , religion or member can be flagged if people wish to censor bigotry.
-
An AB spellcheck program would be nice. I try to be careful when I post a question, I have been ridiculed here for incorrect spelling.
-
I think you have to just skip over those questions that bug you. The ones that do get to me are the ones that use text messaging content. Mispelling and grammar mistakes can happen. The ones that just don't make sense....just flag them!
-
Of course they should. But putting the issue of rudeness aside, that can at times seem like asking a color blind person to see the rainbow. Many probably can't even see the mistakes or they wouldn't post the question that way.
-
I was once told, there is never a stupid question. The only stupid question is the one that is not asked.
-
you expect far too much from a bunch of sinful, imperfect humans like myself
