What do you call your Mother and Father? I noticed some people in England called their father Poppa. I know many of you call your mother Mum. My curiousity was tickled. Where were you raised and how do you address your mother and father.

I was raised in California and pretty much stick to Mom and Dad. Unless I want something, in which case it's Mommy/Daddy, haha!

This may sound morbid, but I use humour to deal with most upsetting things. I call them Mom and Dead. My Father passed about 15 years ago.

In ireland a lot of people call their mother mum or mammy, but their father usually just gets dad or daddy! I mostly call mine their first name because they are more likely to pay attention!
