  • Yes, there are, not only to improve eyesight, but also to fully correct it back to perfect again. You'll find some exercises here: http://cureyoureyes.com/blog And they are all over the web. It's important to undertand though that the key to restoring eyesight lays in the understanding of the problem, which is tensed eye muscles that need relaxing, and that's what improves eyesight, not the eye exercises.
  • It depends on why you're having trouble seeing. For example, most nearsightedness is due to the shape of the eyeball. (In which case, you'll need some sort of corrective lenses.) However, if it's a problem with the focusing or alignment systems of your eyes, then strengthening the muscles involved can help. My son is VERY nearsighted. He can't make out the big "E" at the top of the chart, unless he's wearing his glasses. He ALSO had problems with the focusing and alignment systems of his eyes. At 6 yrs old, even WITH glasses his visual acuities were only about 20/40. He underwent 'Vision Therapy', - doing regular exercises with his eyes for a year and could then see as well as 20/15 with the same set of glasses. He still needed a bifocal to read. He's just completed his second round of 'Vision Therapy', (He's 12yrs old), and his focusing system muscles have improved so much, that he will no longer need a bifocal. Without the Vision Therapy, his ability to see could have been compromised for life, no matter how strong his glasses were.
