Drinking beer with a straw will make you drunk faster than drinking it normally ? My friends say that all the time and i disagree with them. Do you know anything about it?

You will feel the effects of alcohol quicker if you drink from a straw, if only because you are consuming more at a quicker rate than if you had simply drunk from the glass/bottle.

Speaking as someone who asked 2 different family members (both bartenders) yes, you will get drunk faster. It has to do with the fact that you DRINK faster through a straw than you would with just the glass.

Yes drinking beer with straw will get you more drunk than normal drinking. Does that make sense. OK will explain how now? Contrastingly when you gulp beer without straw you tend to drink most of the beer without allowing the taste-buds to feel all of the beer you have drunk. Naturally when your taste-buds start feeling the taste your brain responds more quickly sent by the taste-buds inch by inch of the small portions of the beer tasted by the buds. That means when you capable of consuming 5 to 8 bottles of beer naturally while using straw you ten to take less around 3 to 5 bottles of beer only. Howz that. Bingo. And that is my research folks.
