Is the cab and front clip on a 2000 F350 longer or shorter than a cab and front clip on a 1986 F350 and by how much? Not a wheelbase issue.

I HAVE A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH MY 1998 FORD EXPEDITION. MY ANTI THEFT LIGHT BLINKS REAL FAST ON MY RUNNING BOARD AND MY INTERIOR LIGHTS AND IT MAKES A CLICKING NOISE. ALSO IT AFFECTS MY WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCKS. THEY DON'T WORK WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING. EVEN IF I CRANK THE VEHICLE UP THEY STILL DON'T WORK. BUT MINES DON'T START DOING THIS UNTIL I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL I CLOSE THE DOOR. WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS IT STOPS AND EVERYTHING WORKS AGAIN. I WAS TOLD IT MAY BE THE GEM MODULAR WHICH I THINK COST OVER $300.
* DO ANYONE KNOW WHY MY SUV IS DOING THIS.
