Is the new "texting" fad making the kids even less capable of putting together a coherent, complete sentence? When I read what kids write today, and how they do it, I fear for the future.

    Probably, just like the introduction of Microsoft Word (which will highlight, in red, spelling errors it can't auto-correct for you) ruined our spelling ability. The more technologically advanced we become, the less likely we are to depend on things like...handwriting, for instance, or US Mail, to do things.
