Do you tip your binmen, postmen and other service providers at Christmas? If so, what's the 'going price'? Or do you ask them in for a hot toddy?

My mailman....$5 in a card. The others are municipal employees and get good wages, so 'no' to them.

Just the newspaper delivery man. I tipped him $16 this year, about 10% of the annual cost of my newspaper.

I only tip the paperboy because he's poor!......only joking...my hairdresser is poor to so I tip her as well <winks>

I give the garbage collector a plate of cookies, and the mailman gets my homemade toffee. I've had the same mailman for 15+ years, and he *loves* the toffee. He tells me that he looks forward to it every year, and he always writes a thank-you note.
