I hated being 13 - I was too young to do stuff with the teenagers and too old to want to play the kid stuff. It was a very awkward time.

22. I hated it, because I still didn't feel like an adult. And I didn't measure up to anything worthy of the title. I was really a dunce, too. Because I was unemployed I would do some stupid stuff. And I was "grown up" enough that I could make decisions that would have a profound effect on my life.

11 was really hard going. It was an awkward stage and I had a rotten attitude. I felt many people were beneath my intellect and thus had few friends. I've lightened up since! I also found 35 to be very hard. I was letting go of a lot of lies I had built my life around. At 40 I feel almost serene now. So you see? It takes awhile for some of us to get it right.
