  • Good question; really. It is interesting to note that as time goes by, archaeologists and scientists are finding evidence to support these stories; however, whether one takes them as religious or not is a matter of choice.
  • There are some atheists among us. But with such a question, you would rather irritate people who believe in any kind of religion, and this is a lot... Most people are probably neither atheists nor religious, they just don't care.
  • I often wonder if men would really make up a religion that basically tells you you can't do anything you want? I mean think about it. If a bunch of guys made up a religion you would think that Beer drinking in mass quantities would be OK, Sleeping with as many women as possible would gain you point towards heaven. Multiple partners simultaneously would give you bonus points. Laying around being lazy would be a commandment. Stealing would be ok as long as you didn't get caught. Telling lies would be the first commandment (Particularly when fishing or talking to your wife) Coveting would be a commandment. Pride would be required to enter heaven. Why would you make everything that men so enjoy doing a sin if you were a man? Basic human nature hasn't changed that much in thousands of years. It puzzles me.
