No..stay home. If the party can be postponed, it should be. That's my vote! :)

you must live around my area. If I were you I would stay put. Not worth you life. There will always be other celebrations. :)

We're dealing with this here, and our forecast is for 44 inches! :-o We've made a plan B to reschedule if the anouncement is made on TV for "no unnecessary travel" or "snow emergency." Otherwise, we'll try to go for it, because dealing with snow is familiar to us. However: ANYONE who is not comfortable driving should never take a risk. Nothing is worth your life. You'll have other times and places to get together if you stay home and stay safe.

I say stay put and do it another,no one wants to hear a loved one isn't going to be there because the are stuck in the storm or worse.

It really isn't worth the chance Grammy. You watch the news so you know what the possibilities are. Those things we see on the news really happen.....

Yeah...it was sometime in the mid to late 70's when the powers that be decided only fishermen and lobstermen were allowed to trap lobster. You can still clam but you need to get a special permit. I remember clamming with my whole family (we lived right on the ocean), then we would sell the clams to a local business.
