  • You don't necessarily have to cry to lessen the burden in your mind and heart. Just stay focused, and carry out practical ways to solve your problems, one step at a time. Daily exercise will help strengthen your mind and soul. Watching comedy and tragic stories may help you unwind and loosen up. If your insurance covers this, go see a shrink.
  • I cry when i pull nose hairs - and i am serious
  • i dont see how crying will lesson the burden?
  • First, you're not really helpless, although I know you feel that way. I feel the same way sometimes and the only way I can get around it is to read stories and/or listen to music that pulls emotion. Doesn't have to be sad, though - anything touching or poignant will usually start the tears flowing. Then I try to tap into the sadness within my own heart. Here are links to a couple of videos that help me to cry: Free Hugs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4 Notice the picture turns into color when he gets his first hug World's on Fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzoNInZ2ClQ If I can come up with any others, I'll post here. I understand exactly what you mean about "lessening the burden", too. Studies have shown that tears shed in sorrow contain toxins, while tears from, say, peeling onions are mosly salt water. So yeah, you definitely feel relief when your body gets rid of poison. Good luck, hon.
  • I usuallylisten to certain music or pull out a dvd thats a movie I know can make me cry. It does ease things an gives some relief.
  • I know how you feel. I'm seeing a psychologist to help me with this. Maybe you should do the same. As a matter of fact, I'm having trouble feeling sadness, love, etc. He's working with me on that stuff. I haven't cried in many, many years. Maybe you should make an appointment with a psychologist. Would you like my e-mail, and then we can chat privately?
