Yes, I work in a Chocolate shop. It is a light weight sleeveless coat in the company colours.
For my job we have to wear either all black or khaki pants with a black shirt. shoes/socks must be black as well. girls can wear skirts but they must cover below the knee and shirts have to be tasteful, no t-shirts.
to make a nice impression to the guest. that we are standard and to show others we are same team in a same uniform.
I wear scrubs to work.
We are not required to wear a uniform at work, but we do have standards there when it comes to the kinds of clothes we are allowed and not allowed to wear.
For women, the skirt should be long enough to cover the knees, for example.
There are lots of other rules, and I have seen many of them being broken. It's okay though, our office is quite tolerant of people's tastes.
I work at Applebee's. I have to wear black shoes, black socks, blue jeans, black belt, and because I'm a Neighborhood Expert, a red polo shirt. I also wear a red server's apron with reflective stripes because I work Carside ToGo.
No, but I can describe a person I know who, when she was a young girls in her late teens/early 20's, worked as a live-in maid/nanny girl for a strict employer. She had to wear this:
*Black high-heeled footwear
*Black skirt with a white belt, and a white waist apron
*White long sleeved blouse
*A name tag
*Also when doing more dirty work, a white full length apron over the other clothes.
She really hated these clothes, uncomfort and rather tight-fitting. But she was a young, poor and low-educated girl with not many other works to find, so she stayed for 10 years (from she was 16 to 26 or something).
My only uniform now is anything with "Harley-Davidson" on it, with a tshirt that says something about the US Army. When I was in the Army, I wore a variety of uniforms, but most frequently jungle fatigues. : )
No we don't. I hated wearing uniforms in the past.
I will never require my employees to wear uniforms unless they look like this:

Never when I worked..however it sure would have saved a lot of money and time if I had.
No, but I have to wear something nice and fancy. That sucks, because in private life I don't even use make up.
i work at hot topic, so i get to wear whatever i want. sometimes a uniform would be nice b/c now it takes me lngr to get ready for work
When I was a tour bus hostess, I had to wear khaki slacks or skirt with a white blouse and blue blazer.
