What an excellent question. It would really depend on the situation. I would abandon all that I hold dear for the sake of my child. If in keeping her I was forcing her to also live without morals, maybe I would have to give up what is MOST dear to me for the sake of my child, the child herself.
-
Most definitely. There is nothing that says you can't change your perspective on life. Though it would help a lot if u could give more details.

look at this

Keeping my child would be the most important thing to me. I can't think of a scenario that would make me go against my morals or beliefs, short of killing someone. If we were being threatened, I'd take my child and disappear. Once you have a child, that child's welfare is paramount and everything else falls by the wayside. Can you give me an example of how your morals/beliefs would need to change? :)
-
Yes! A child would be the most important person in my life.
-
no, i think that wouldn't be fair to anybody. how could you live if you were going against your morals and beliefs? a child deserves to live in a truthful and healthy place.
-
I would do all in my power to avoid having to do such a thing but if I were left with no other choice in order to protect my child then absolutely without a doubt I would do so.
-
Whatever it took ....there is nothing I would not do.
-
Who's more important to you? Yourself or your child? Me, my children are way more important to me
-
Sis1227 said it. Anything for my child & her happiness
-
I would do anything and everything for my children. I wouldn't question or hesitate to keep them safe and happy.
-
Hard question . It would depend on where my morals and beliefs lied.
-
I would do any thing I had to for my child no matter what it was I would do it
-
Of course,.
-
I don't have a child, but...Who normal wouldn't?
-
Well i don't have children yet, but i saw my mom doing certain things i never thought she would do just to keep my brother from drugs, he left the house in bad terms but she finally make him realize what was important and now he is doing good and he's got a wife and 2 little boys, so based from that experience i guess i would do anything for my children just like my Mother did :)
-
I certainly I would do most anything that it would take.
-
I have to say that I do not get it. If you ended up with a child in the situation where you would ask the question, then didn't you already go against your morals and/or beliefs ?? Maybe I am insane, but I can't think of how I could be wrong here.
-
I would do whatever I could possibly do to keep my child! That is a mothers love!!!
-
No. Gods' way in the home takes a higher precedent than what the system deems to be relevant. In case you didn't know, the system HATES God.
