  • -If you sneeze they can come out. -If your eyes get dry they come out. ,etc.
  • What!! if sneeze they come out..c'mon thats ridiculous....the hard part for me is putting them on, and if they fall good luck finding them...other than that theyre way better than glasses
  • You can see some glares at times. They can also get in the way of certain things, but over time you learn how to adjust to the difficulties. EDIT They can dry up and feel really uncomfortable, like mine are right now. You need to take them out everyday, which if you're lazy like I am then that can be a hassle lol!
  • I can't wear them because of extreme vision correction. As it is, I wear magnifying glasses on top of my regular glasses just to see the computer screen
  • If you have allergies...they're hell...they dry out a lot...
  • I wouldn't be able to see properly.
  • Aside from the previously mentioned disadvantages (dryness at times, though for me not too often), there's also the costs related to it. I suppose the contacts themselves are comparable to the cost of glasses, but when you add the cleaning solution and so-forth each year, it adds up. That, and you need to take them out and clean them nightly (at least, I do).
  • Personally its pretty expensive, i have toric lenses but im going to have to change them as im now needing Bifocal lenses. They can be very expensive, disadvantages for me is i awlays fogrget to take mine out on an eveing and end up with sore eyes the next day. They dry out the eyes also, and if you forget to take your solutions and cleaning kit then your pretty stuck really.
  • Having them roll back inside your eye socket. Say, if you fell asleep with them on.
  • I use contact lenses. The only disadvantage that I see is the time required to put them on. I find it hard to do that. Call me dumb but it's true ;) Some say the lenses accumulate bacteria and might harm your eyes. But I think that would not happen if you cleaned them well. BTW, I use disposable contact lenses.
  • The application and removal of the lenses, the conditions that are associated with improper care of the lenses (infections, etc.), They take some getting used to, you have to take them out before swimming, showering etc, sometimes it's hard to find the right lenses for your eyes (fit, comfort etc.) and they are more costly in the long run than glasses are.
