I've read that for some reason you can't turn lights on in dreams and that electrical items tend to malfunction~this seems to be true in my experience too, but has anyone else also noticed this?

I am quite sure that there are no boudaries to what I can do in my dreams, but then I have few even when awake!

I had dreams for years about house phones, pay phones and even cell phones that would not operate in my dreams. Thankfully, haven't had one of these recurring ones in years.

I have never had that problem. Then again, I was an electrician and have always had a knack for and complete understanding of electrical and most electronic items while many people regard them as black magic. My theory is that the average person's subconscious may not be able to understand why such items work and therefore won't allow them to work in a dream where conscious thought, logic, and common sense have no merit. Since I don't even need to think about those things....
