in Australia we have a 'births..deaths..and marriages' office and you can contact them and so long as you know a few things they can help you ...I assume overseas has similar departments

If your still married you can file for divorce and after a certain period of time, if no contact ever occurs from your husband. You end up getting a divorce, by default, I guess... just check your at your local offices to find out if you're still married
