My wife works in a business office and often wears neckties to work. She wears a tie with a button front shirt, buttoned to the top with the tie tied tight, and a menswear style suit. She also has very short hair.Is this fashionably acceptable?

Acceptable to who? The popular whole? Kudos to her for wearing what she wants and feels comfortable in. I find women in suits to be confident and sexy.. to heck with what anyone else says. It is not true that people will think she prefers women to men based off of this.. unless they are just judgemental idiots to begin with. I think she wears this because it pleases her and she likes it. That is what matters.

In my opinion, I don't think so. I think they are women who look like men. I like to see women wear a pantsuit without a tie or a skirt with a jacket. No tie!! You don't see men wearing women's clothes and because they think they are fashionable, unless they are a cross dresser!

Now this is where you are going to have to come in a bit. If she is wearing your things hide them and if they are hers throw them away. Try putting her in a pencil skirt with a fitted blazer and underneath it a camisole. If she doesn't like pumps or anything try sling-back kitten hills. If she has nice facial features the short hair can be given highlights and lowlights that BLEND in with her own hair color after she has an appropriate trim (or take her to a really good salon). With great natural day make-up your wife should be expecting a raise!
