  • If you need a higher storage capacity, getting the larger iPod nano's will be the best choice. For me, a nano wouldn't even suffice. On my 30 gb iPod, I have only 2.8 gb left (3391 songs and 252 videos-including about 7 full length movies) But then again, theres also some people who may have the 160 gb iPod and have already run out of room on it.
  • 8GB I believe. Compared to 512MB or 1GB for Shuffle. I would have a good think before getting a Nano though, they are alot more fragile then a full sized Ipod, and the difference between the highest capacity Nano, and Smallest capacity full sized Ipod in terms of price, isnt that much. EDIT: New, latest Generation stumpy Nano's are reportedly very sturdy! It it probably better value to get the full sized Ipod, 10 times the space, or an extra 72 gigabytes, for only an extra 80 bucks. What do you need the Ipod to be tiny for? do you have no pockets? Wear 100% skin tight clothing? You pay a premium for the small size: both in cost, and battery life. Then Again, I am a tight arse, and tend to think WAAAAY too much before buying something expensive.
  • How much music do you have? The nano 4GB holds around 1000 songs. The nano 8Gb holds around 2000 songs. The classic 80GB holds around 20,000 songs. The classic 160GB holds around 40,000 songs. The touch 8GB holds around 2000 songs. The touch 16GB holds around 4000 songs.
