Because you don't like to watch football or any of the good movies the networks tend to air. There are so many infinite things that you can do on a Sunday that don't make them boring.

because everyone knows they'll have to go to work, school, etc. the next day.

I do not find Sundays any more boring than any other day of the week. Today is a great Sunday Liverpool won 4-0
