String Knife, preferably a half-serrated blade Both of those would allow you to construct shelter if you got the skills. They would also allow to to gather the means to make fire without resorting to matches or lighters if you are skilled. Additionally, using the string and carving hooks would allow you to catch fish and/or construct traps for rabbits and other small animals. The toothpaste is not necessarily helpful unless you you are a yuppie camper. Duct tape doesn't stick well to raw wood and/or pine needles but can be used to make a water bucket and other small essentials. However you can't work multiple massive miracles with a single roll of duct tape. Small LED flashlight Just in case ;) I carry two of these three with me at all times.

A victim.. I mean partner!

Well, just where will you be parking your sleeping bag? ON the ground? In a tent? In a cabin? You may need something for protection for either ground or above you in case of bad weather. Food might be nice. a flashlight so you can find things in the dark, like your shoes when you need to go to the bathroom and it's dark. Toilet paper is ALWAYS a good idea, no matter where you go. Don't know what you are going to do with the duct tape. A water bottle would be useful. A stove or matches to light a fire. A extra set of dry clothes is handy, too.
-
Dear God, don't forget the BEER!
-
Wake her up (the sleeping bag I mean)brush her teeth, put the duct tape back on, ready to roll, enjoy.

If you bring enough duct tape, you don't need anything else. You can even make your own sleeping bag!!!

Forget the rest of the stuff. If you're going to have a campfire bring a can of mushrooms. Go to the store and buy the cheapest can of mushrooms you can find. Once the camp fire is good and hot throw the unopened can of mushrooms into the fire and then hide behind something. The longer it takes to blow up the bigger the explosion. I don't know why but mushrooms blow up like crazy. ::WARNING:: this should only be attempted in a controlled environment by professionals and may result in mushroom shaped burns on your face.
