Yes...with QUICK treatment there is generally a pretty good recovery rate... It is the delaying of needful treatment (usually because the owner either ignores the symptoms, or doesn't recognize that the animal is REALLY getting sick, or they don't believe they can afford to take the dog to the vet...always a tough one) This web site offered a lot of very good information on this topic...great question!
