AB attracts some wackos every now and then but I agree with you, for the most part, it's a very supportive community of people who want to help others.

I tend to think that those with the biggest hearts are the ones who have moved to third world countries (that lack the internet) to do aid work... ; ) Though I certainly know a few really, truly good people on here : ) And some really, truly disgusting ones : (

I've noticed that. The people here are of a higher class than the average person. I think the reason is that the format of the site attracts empathetic, interesting, and intelligent users. For the most part.

I do, it is just wnoderful to know that if you need some support,you can come on here and ab's are here for you.

Although I am not certain of the anatomical accuracy of heart size being greater among ABers, I am most definately certain that many of the ABers are among the best people in the world.

You bet they do! If I need a hug or a kind word within minutes someone comes along and calls me friend and throws lots of hugs my way.....((((hugs to you!)))))

I have been made very very welcome here at AB from day 1 and have seen this extended to all who join our little family ...the way everyone interacts both on AB and in private through emails is amazing and the love and help given to all is very special...I know I am privileged to be apart of this community and to be able to share the fun, laughs and tears, joys and happiness and yes even the sadness is special... so yeah I think ABers are the best!!

1) Who could here not agree? 2) No. AB members are people who explored the internet and chanced upon that site. Or heard about it from a friend. They asked for a membership to be able to ask questions themselves. Some of them have big hearts, some of them could be "some of the best people in the world". But this is rather difficult to measure. 3) If you stay on AB for a while, you will start to appreciate some people particularly. And some of the people here are very popular among other ABers. 4) "best people in the world Some one who dose not hate people who are different from them just because they are different. Can be anyone, from any religion, country, ethnic background, color, social/economic status, clique, age group, life experiences, etc. and treat every one decently and how they would like to be treated. They do not use stereotypes and do not like it them. They are willing to stand up for what they believe in, but don't force it on others. They are willing to protect anybody, even lose their life doing so. They listen when somebody talks to them. They are generally pleasant to be around, and most people try to be one. They also come in the every day form who just try to help people when ever there is a chance, like those who give up a seat for the elderly, or help pick up someones stuff. People who are kind, respecting, helpful, and just all around a good human. Most religious leaders/founders were: Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Muhammad, Dolly Lama, the list goes on and on. Most founders of charities, hospitals, orphanages, relief centers, etc. Also an opinion subject to change depending on who you are. Most people want to be included in a list of the best people in the world. The best people in the world can come from anywhere and have any creed." I have been an ABer for only a short time but I do find empathy and intelligence seem to be in abundance on this site. In fact, I would go as far to say that AB seems unique to me. Cheers to everyone!!

sure, there are some nutjobs and bigots who troll around AB and try to spoil things for everyone...if they only knew they just make themselves look foolish! The majority of AB members are a great bunch of folks...and I look forward to hearing from or reading Q&A from every day!

Disagree. There are a few total bastards here, as well as a lot of people like me who have limits to their sympathy. Personally, I can be very kindhearted to those who have had a tough time of things or who espouse unpopular opinions (even those I don't agree with) but I do NOT suffer fools gladly and I WILL go after anybody who I feel is being stupid. Also there are people far more com[passionate and far nicer than us in the world. We here at AB are just people.
