If I'm at home and it's just me and my husband, I usually leave it open, otherwise closed, without question!

Closed, a habit I got into as a child. Six family members when I was young, needed a bit of privacy.

My batroom time is the only alone time I have during the day....pretty much.. I have two toddlers and a 5 year old, so I close the door, to muffle the sounds of "MOMMY!" and the usual argument that ensues after they yell for Mommy.

In my own home I go with it open. All my housepets feel they have to accompany me everywhere I go in the house (3dogs and 1cat) so if I waited for the whole crowd to get in I might have an accident.
