As it was put best in a bumper sticker in the movie "Red Dawn", They can take my gun when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers". Its not that I'm a fanatic forguns, I am very passionate however about my constitutional rights.

Nope. If guns are outlawed, I'll be an outlaw.

A law ordering the confiscation of firearms from the citizens would be an illegal law/act. Therefore a citizen would not have to abide by it, it would not be a law. Congress shall make no law as I remember regarding the Bill of Rights.

I'm sure the day is coming, but only a government with questionable intentions would want to disarms its citizens.

I lost my guns in a boating accident, but if I had some, I'd point out the Constituion to the goons. Our country and Constitution is worth fighting for. When they take the guns, what will stop them from taking the rest of our rights?

nope because Id have no remorse for any public servant trying to enforce a tyrannical act. Id have no problem defending my rights and eliminating the threat to my liberty because any officer who would try to enforce an illegal law like that is violating the oath he took the day he became a L.E.O and therefore is a domestic TERRORIST enemy of the United States. Or at least Id like to think Id have the balls to shoot the bastard

If our nation doesn't trust it's law abiding, tax paying citizens with means to defend them selves, then me and my gun will find a country that would allow free cititzens to protect themselves

WHAT?!? That's like asking to turn in your lungs, liver or kidneys. They wouldn't ask that unless they planned something truly heinous. So I have to say "NOPE, NEVER, NO WAY, UH-UHHH, NOT A CHANCE IN HELL"

Don't give the gov any more hints. They already control over half our lives. but no. I would not. If you lived where I lived last year.. you would not either .. I had to carry my gun to the mailbox with me because of all the crime. It goes with me whenever I leave this house. Though I have no permit to conceal it and I don't know if I could ever use it, I have one. We already give more rights to the criminals than to the victims so shouldn't we at least have some chance of fighting back.

It would require amending the Constitution, and attempts to introduce such an amendment have been repeatedly defeated.

But to answer your question, no, because I don't own any guns. But if I did, I wouldn't turn them in. They have to pry them from my cold, dead fingers.

"I'm sorry deputy but your records are in error, I don't own any firearms. Do you have a search warrant? I can guaranty that if you take the time to search my home you will never find this clerical error that you refer to. Wouldn't your time be better spent helping your departments pinned down SWAT teams? As I understand, this federal confiscation of guns is causing alot of ugly stand offs with some of the more passionate former gun owners. Sir, you seem like a fine officer, please be sure to wear your kevlar vest at your next stop."

I do not own a gun, though if I did I would gladly turn in in.I do not agree with the 2nd amendment though I realize a cannot force my belief on others.I guess as long as they are not pointing their pee shooters at me or the ones I care for I guess I will have to accept the status quo.
