I do. I think differently of people who think one way or do certain things. I think most everyone has a portion of their mind towards some group or faction in society that they have biases against. It might not be technical bigotry, but it's close.

At the Tolerance Museum in Los Angeles they have two doors. One says something like Prejudiced and the other says Not Prejudiced. If you try to walk through the latter you find it doesn't open. Point being, everyone has some form and level of prejuduce. I have to admit that I have had moments wherein I singled someone out based on some trait peculiar to their ethnicity, language or custom. It's not fair to do and it's usually about something that has nothing to do with that. And whether I said it out loud or thought it in my head makes no difference. Am I a closet bigot? No. I don't abide epithets or biased talk and behavior. But to say I haven't experienced some sort of prejudice would be to deny my human nature.

Nope. not closet at all...I, like any other person has opinions about things that are not always rational or fair. don't even get me started on wal-mart and the people who shop there! i like to think that i am enough aware of them, however, to keep from being a true "bigot"

Yes, I dislike certain groups or people for all sorts of irrational reasons... I'm a bigot! However, I do try to be AWARE of my own prejudices, and challenge them when I notice them, and I try to avoid letting them determine my ACTIONS. As time goes by, I think I'm becoming less bigoted.

People should be free to choose their course in life as long as they do not harm another. 3. Worship or refrain from worshiping the God of their choice. 4. Defend their partner, children, property and friends 5. Raise their own children in loving discipline 6. Ensure the proper education of their children 7. Love and serve their country, taking the necessary steps to defend it 8. Support the Armed Services and ensure that all members and their families are properly looked after for injury resulting from their service. 9. People should be honest and have integrity 10. Elect a goverment that represents the people or throw them out of office. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. I'm a real bigot!

I have to admit that sometimes I form opinions of people I don't know based on some superficial quality about them. However once I get to know them, my prejudices usually disappear.
