  • It depends on what program you use for your e-mail. If you use a web based service you probably can't do that. If you use Outlook Express or similar just go to the Insert Menu, select Picture and browse for the one you want.
  • If you want to add an "inline" image to an email, you have a lot of variables to worry about. First, where are these images? If they are already online, say in an online service like flickr, you should check out a bookmarklet called Lizzer (http://lizzer.com). It will let you insert images into Yahoo Mail, Gmail, AOLmail, and Hotmail. You can search and insert things directly from your account. If your images are on your computer, then you don't really have a great option. You'll probably need to use the "attach an image" function inside each of the different services. Hope that helps!
