  • Edit your boot.ini file and take out the copy of Windows that isn't used. There are other ways to do the same thing but I always just edit the file directly. Just be sure to back it up before you do anything in case you mess it up.
  • I guess windows wants you to choose which copy of windows to use. I would suggest using the copy on the primary partition or the C drive. After you know everything works, you can re-format the other drive to get rid of the error message
  • avallach is right, and if that doesn't work.. time to start alll over.. fdisk it, format it, install from scratch.... time consuming and takes someone who knows what they are doing
  • Turn off and switch HDD cables on drives to make E drive the C drive and visa versa
