Check your fuses. Some cars have 2 fuses for the blower motor. One for low speeds and another for high speed.

Depends on the kind of car, but most have a resistor pack that controls the blower speeds. When the pack fails you only get hi speed. Let me know what kind of car and i can tell you more.

I had the exact opposite problem on a car once, heat only at LOW speed so I just went ahead and replaced the entire switch. May save you from having to track the problem down. But csimme01 sounds like a good suggestion, I have seen them before like s(he) mentioned

Homeslice The part i think you need is GM Part number 52476725 You can buy it on line for 18 bucks plus shipping at. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com You can also get it at a local auto parts store. Ask for the blower Motor Resistor. The part is under the center of the dashboard next to the blower motor. See the picture below. I will sent to eMail also
