  • Why put yourself through pain you don't have to go through? Stretching might not even help and may make it worse. If the meds are making you too sick to take them, please go to your doc.
  • It depends on exactly where your back is hurting as to what stretches to do. Try a few of these (coming from a Chirpractor's wife): -bend forward at the waist just a bit, bring your arms down in front of you, arch your back. -Sit in a chair with a back to it. Reach around to one side with both hands and pull while keeping buttocks and legs in place. Then do the same on the other side. -Lean your head to the side to stretch your neck. Then take your hand and pull your head a little closer to your shoulder. Hold for about 3 seconds and release. Hope these help!
  • Lay on the floor with no pillow, or maybe just a small one. It works for me..hope ya feel better! :)
  • Have you tried lying with your back flat on the floor and your legs raised so that your calves are lying on the cushion of a sofa (like you are in a 'Z' shape). This flattens and takes all the pressure off your lower back and believe me can really help. It's worth a try..you might want a pillow for your head..and LOL it's hard to drink wine in that position.
  • the best thing iv ever found for my back is the HOMEDICS,, Shiatsu massaging cushion. its kinda expensive but you will love it.cost about $120.00 BUT its worth it. its great.
