I should also mention that at thsi current job I get a bonus every 6 months and go under review for a raise every 6 months, I have not been at this job for 6 months yet but I will in a couple of weeks. Last year his last employee made 7 grand total in bonuses

Is there any way you could have the best of both worlds? First I'd make sure it's true you could get higher pay elsewhere, then inform your boss you have become aware you are underpaid for your position. See if you can negotiate a higher salary. Maybe your boss can't make up the entire difference but possibly you could get a substantial increase. Working conditions are worth a lot - it's great if you don't dread going to work every day, but if you are truly underpaid by about 25% you may be selling yourself short.

I just started a new job yesterday. The money is less, but the benefits are better. The old saying that money isn't everything is quite true. I was traveling in my last job a LOT. This job has no travel so I get to spend more time with my wife. My last commute was anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours each way depending on traffic. My new commute is 15 minutes each way. The group I am working with now is much more calm and relaxed. It's things like this that let me take a cut in pay.
