In your opinion, what are the ethical aspects of cloning?

    I wouldn't say it's bad because we're "playing with nature". We do that all the time by harnessing any sort of energy, or creating medication. The only reason I could see it being bad is because it would result in the devaluing of life. Creating a person now, is an intimate, personal and trying task (9-month gestation period really takes some sacrifice). But, when people are mass-produced in factories, essentially, you rather lose a bit of respect for persons.

    I think we are playing with fire. The expression it isn't nice to fool with mother nature comes to mind. Time and time again people have tried to improve on nature's plan with bad consequences. I think we should stop meddling and put all the money we use for cloning to good use cleaning up the mess we have already made.
