Would you go out of your way to impress someone you're just seeing casually? What's the difference between a casual relationship and "dating", anyway?

Depends on whether or not you want to just keep casually "seeing" them, or if you want to BE with them in a relationship. I wouldn't go out of my way to "impress" anyone. I am who I am, and eventually I hope to find someone that thinks that is good enough. If I did want something casual to take a more serious turn, I would definitly make it clear to the other person however. Casually seeing someone is usually the label put on two people, where one or both are not ready for a serious commitment. Be it they have gotten hurt in the past, they want to see what else is out there, or they're just not ready. It's a way to get many of the same things you would get out of a relationship without the title. Surprisingly, that comforts a lot of people.
