Many companies require employees take random drug tests. Why isn't the same required of welfare recipients?

Seriously!!! Stop testing the people who CAN get a job and go to work, and start testing the deadbeats. I'm with you!

They should test all welfare recipients for drugs. The town where I live definately would save a whole lot of money. Here,these people wait for their check to come on either the 1,2 or 3 then are broke the very next day(with none of the money actually spent on the kid the money is for)because the loser either spent it all on drugs or decided that leaving the kids home alone and going to the club was a better idea then spending it on who it's really for. Don't get me wrong there are some people that get state assistance that actually do utilize what is available to them to get off assistance(like school or training programs)but for the most part they don't. That's why I can't wait until June when they knock down the projects here and reality hits these lowlifes. They should drug test all recipients-what have they got to hide???

What a BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT question and raises a great point. Tired of paying money that I worked darn hard for to support the losers with drug addictions or are jsut too lazy to go find work... NOT to be confused with people who are LEGITIMATELY on welfare. But those seem few and far between :-(
