  • I have the same problem from a riding accident several years ago. The only things that help me are massages and lots and lots of stretching. A hot bath and some ben-gay work wonders as well :)
  • Maybe its a slipped or hurniated disc or arthuritis. I have that & mine aches constantly. You may can go to the (excuse the spelling) chriopractor for some relief. They have helped me alot in the past & years ago I went to one & didn't need to go again for about 10 years. Muscle rub helps alot too. Sux getting older, lol.
  • i have cronic pain in my back so i know what you mean excerise, massages, heat and cold packs are the best. but check with a dr. to find out what causes it.
  • You should think of two important muscle groups: the rhomboids and the serratus anterior muscle. The rhomboid muscle exists between the scapula and assists in stabalization. The serratus anterior muscle is a gooey muscle that weaves in and around the ribs and helps the scapula assist the arm in sliding accross the plane of your back. Problems with the serratus anterior muscle can lead to pain in the medial borders (inside borders of the scapula) around the spine. Does either one or both of your scapulae wing out?
