heh heh, Thats the thing, the more you want to go to sleep, the more stressed and worried you get about the sleep you are missing, the less able you are to relax and go to sleep. Basically you cant make yourself go to sleep (short of drugs, of course, but even these dont give sleep, they make your body Imitate sleep without getting the benefits) You have to *let yourself* go to sleep. It will do this in its own time. Sleepiness comes in waves: if you are tossing and turning, you arent doing yourself any favours. Get up and read a book untill you are calm and relaxed, and feel sleepy, then just get back into bed, relax, and see what happens. (At no point are you Trying to make yourself Sleep! :P) Untill you do drop off, try not to stress about how long it takes, and how much "Super-Important sleep" you miss; the human body is remarkable at coping without it: Insomniacs and Narcoleptics have it *really* bad, but they manage. Sweet Dreams!

I have problems with falling asleep as well. I finally just forced myself to lay down with no tv or anything. Even if I am not asleep at least my body is resting. Try not to think about anything negative. I often play kid words games in my head or memory games.
