With all the money they make and the crap they turn out, does anybody really feel sorry for and support the television writers on strike?

Only a few make the big bucks (i.e. six figures). Many make about $30,000. And why shouldn't they get a piece of the internet revenues? Should it all go to the fatcats making millions of dollars a year?

mate I don't see to many writers living in mansions for driving 'rollers' do you ...nah there just normal workers and deserve a little extra after all there more than enough to go around with the record profits that are being made p.s. and all that crap thats being put to air is not there doing ...its the rich pricks who are making fists full of dollars that are allowing it to be shown!

I don't think we know the whole story. We only see the names of the ones that get the credit and the big bucks not his writing staff.

No matter how you look at it...work sucks the life out of a person. Rare, do I find people who love their place of work, it about money. If you can make as much as you can, then do it. A company will not, think twice about letting people go...workers know everyone is replacable. I'm pretty sure, if someone was making money off your work, you might be alittle upset, too? Its hard, to not support people who just want to protect their work & lives.

Not really. However, some of their writing has been pretty crappy lately. Dont these damn people go on strike like every year?
