Help answer this question below.
I would have thought the twig and giggle berries would be quite tender?
I have talked to a tattoo artist and they said the most painful place is any where over a bone or a place where there is little fat. Some places include ribs, butt, some times top of foot, and really sensitve areas like the inner side of your arm. I have a tattoo on my ribs and my tattoo artist warned me going into it that this was one of the more painful spots. Personally I would do it again and didn't think it was really that bad. It all depends on the person's pain tolerance and how big the tattoo is.
I give tattoos. Right now I am doing the biggest one I have on myself and I haven't felt any pain at all. Maybe the occasionally nerve that gets hit, but no pain. It goes from my knee to my crotch and from side to side or halfway around my leg. Pain depends on the setting of the gun (needle should only come out to around 1/16 of an inch) Also the voltage setting on the power supply, that effects the speed and distance of the needle. People handle pain differently, it depends on the person. I personaly don't think they hurt if done right (I have 13 tattoos and I had a couple that were not done right that hurt, and left scaring.) So, when you get a tattoo, don't just go to a shop and get one, check them out and ask questions, if they don't want to answer or hesitant then don't bother with going to them. It's your body, you have to make sure you are comfortable with who you are dealing with. Any more questions, give my a holler.
I beleive the ankle is the most painful. Ive seen some people with tattoos on their eyelids though, and i bet that hurts a little more than getting one on your ankle.
I did not find any of mine really painful, but if I had to put mine in order I would say:
Most painful
The inside of my lip (My wifes name)
Across my chest (Tribal design)
The back of my head (Tribal design)
Middle of my back (An alien)
Top of my back (Tribal bat)
Upper left arm (Tribal heart)
Upper right arm (Tribal Dragon)
Upper right arm (Chinese dragon)
Upper left arm (Kanji for Rabbit)
Upper left arm (Kanji for Tiger)
Lower right leg (Custom snake design)
Least painful
Behind your ear, ankle bone, spine, top of your foot,
anywhere with lots of nerves and very little skin between the surface and bone.
If you're worried about how much it will hurt ask for a trial run without ink to see if you can stand the pain.
THIS IS FROM MY EXPERIENCE:
I have 4 tattoos, one on each ankle, one on my butt, and a lower back one. The one on my butt is the smallest, and that hurt the most because the one on my back, by time he was done with the outline, my back was numb so i didnt even feel it anymore...and it actually tickled more then it hurt! and some advice, take a couple tylenol about 20 minutes before a tat!
Prison.
Your eyeballs.
The top of my foot was the most painful place to have a tattoo.
Also, because the skin is so thin on the top of the foot, I had to have the tattoo re-coloured six months later.
Double ouch!
Thin skin over bones hurts more than thick, muscled skin. As for most painful, I'd guess eyeball. Yes, it can and has been done.
Just a guess:

Your balls.
Private parts
I have tattoos everywhere. The least painfull my my boob, most painfull underarm and armpit by far. second most painfull top of the foot and third most painful my belly (below belly button). If someone tells you bony surfaces hurt more its a lie, I have my entire elbow done and I barley felt it...pinch your elbow skin as hard as you possible can right now....see it doesn hurt! IT hurts more where the skin is looser as compared to a bony area like your spine. If your going to get a tattoo bottom line if its going to freakin hurt but its a right of passage and if you can stand it then you deserve to have it! cheers!
Id say the lower back but then iv had tats on my arms and shoulders and wrist they were fine, wouldnt say painful, just uncomfortable.I guess there are painful places to get a tattoo i heard the palms of your hands are
I just got my entire (Inner and outer) forearm done, and it was the most excruciating experience of my life. But then again, I have an extremely low pain tolerance, no fat on my wrists, and it was a very big and colorful piece (Illidan Stormrage from world of warcraft)
Along with that, I to say anywhere where you dont have much fat, like wrists, hands, neck, etc. For me personally, it was the forearm. Also it depends on the piece, how big it is, the shading, color, and how long it takes.
I guess what it comes down to you is your pain tolerance. I've probably drifted off your question, so sorry. The most sensitive over all, are mentioned above. Have fun :)
Nut sac ;)
Just don't get a tattoo on your lower back if you plan on getting an epidural if you have kids....I've heard (dont' know for SURE so someone correct me if I'm wrong) that you can't get that if you have one there.
I heard getting a tattoo on the ribcage (sides of torso) is very painful as well as along the spine. My thoughts on this is that it hurts the most when you get a tattoo where there is not a lot of flesh and meat. So, my tattoo on the lower back hurt a whole lot more that the tattoo on my leg.
i have one on my hip, foot and ribs..the ribs was by far the most painful.
it does hurt, but its well worth it, especially if its something that you really want.
i was thinking of getting a phrase tattoo on my ribs and my tattoo artist asked me twice if i really wanted it there. i ended up getting it on my arm and i adore it.
i would think on the foot or genitals.
anywhere where it is skin is next to the bone
or scar tissue
foot, hand, ankel, head, ect
The side of the neck. Its the only place I almost didn't make it through.
well I have quite a bit of tat work done and in speaking with tat artist, those that have them and from my own personal experience, the less meat the more pain, the more ticklish the area the more uncomfortable. The sternum, underarm seem to be two of the most painful areas excluding the genitalia and face, which are not as common place.
Some say the wrist/hand and feet hurt a lot but mine didnt and the hands and feet are used to a lot more abuse though than your inner arm or inner thigh etc.
As far as pain goes I have some big pieces and never felt more than a little discomfort, a burning sensation that went numb after about the first 30 minutes. I guess it depends on how well you deal with pain and how sensitive you are to it, for me the worst part of a tattoo is just sitting there so long without moving and the annoying sound of the tattoo gun.
i only have two but the one i got yesterday on the top of my foot hurt like a motha! actually the outline was the worst part. but as anyone have to go back in to get their tattoo on top of foot recolored?
the neck has got to be horrible! I think they look cool on guys but dont understand how they can go thru with it.
At the neck..Hmmm..I had no idea..^_^
On an unwanted rash.
I have a tiger tattoo on my shoulder blade, it did not really hurt that bad, but the tail of the tiger goes out to the fatty part of my arm and that part of it hurt like hell.
Ive only got the one and its in the small of my back OMG! IT HURT!
Well, personally i have 2 tattoos. one on my shoulder blade. one on my hip. the hip one hurt ALOT more. but i guess i need to get more tats to see whats the most painful. would one on the breast area hurt very bad?
i have one on the top of my foot covering up to my toes to the top of my shin and have gotten it worked on five times now. each time it hurts worse and it is definately the most painful of all of the ones i have.
the skin is so thin that the healing process is really gnarly and it is hard not to move your foot when they hit the extra sensitive spots.
but it was and is totally worth it.
i believe it is ur lower stomach near ur hip bone!!!!! i have 3 one on my lower back, one on my shoulder and one on my stomach near my left hip talk bout sensitive!!! im goin 2 get one on my foot in june wish me luck!
my foot hurt really bad its from my big toe to my little toe and it didnt hurt near the toes but tit hurt when it got up on the top of my foot
That's strange about the wrist, I just got one on my wrist 2 days ago and It didn't hurt at all, I think it all depends on the persons pain tolerance. Today it hurts the most out of the whole experience.
in my opinion, ribs/side for sure. i've heard it's near impossible to have a live tattooed from heal to toe on the bottom of your foot though... ergh yuck.
Probably your eyelids, or like the bottom of your foot, or the palm of your hand.
Any where there isnt much muscle or fat...i'd have to also add maybe a mans todger?
on you're ribs, i was talking to a tattooist about it once.
The Bottom of your Foot or Your Finger (Teennndeeerr) Or your Buttox
anywhere close to bone - the middle of your chest, ankle bone etc
I think it's on your legs! I hear anything below your heart hurts the most!
i have tattoo's on the top my foot, ankle, hip, stomach, rib cage, spine/other parts of my back, shoulder, inside of my arm, and the back of my neck - i'd say the most painful was inside my arm, but it wasn't that bad really - hurts more when i have my eyebrows waxed!! A guy who lives mear me had a huge tattoo on the back of his head - bet that hurt a fair bit!!
i'm planning on getting a tattoo on my upper back, on both sides just inside my shoulder blades; anyone here ever got them there? i'd assume it would be more painful than many other places, but not nearly as painful as some others.
I have 4 and they all had some pain but not like the one on the inside of my wrist holy shit..I had to keep tellin myself "pain is only temporary!" ugh but the pain is always worth it
the feet, my ankle didnt hurt... then again everyone has a different pain tollerance level.
i only have 3 tattoos... My first tattoo was on my wrist...second...my middle and upper back...and third on the right side of my lower back. My wrist hurt on the outside when it hit the bone. The one on my middle to upper back HURT LIKE A BITCH! (i dont recommend) but mine is huge...and the one on my lower back on the right side didnt really hurt only when it hit my rib cage and when it got to the upper part of my butt it tickled. From what i have heard the foot hurts a lot and still trying to debate on if i want to get one there
