If you lie with a pillow under your pelvis and keep it elevated for 30 minutes it would produce the same effect you are trying to produce with the tampon and there would be no chance of the sperm going into the tampon.

There would be little point. What is ejected is the carrier fluid and damaged sperm. Healthy sperm are quite capable of swimming "upstream" to their target without assistance.
