    Tom Tom XL S is a good one. Costco.com has it for less the $250.00

    Garmin actually has many models under $200, several about $100, such as the eTrex and Forerunner 101. The Forerunner is intended for runners and can replace a pedometer. The eTrex is best for geocaching and marine use. The Forerunner 301 has a heart rate monitor, a rechargable battery, and can upload workout data via USB (also recharges via USB).
