Yeah, for a week my freshman year. I forget why though:)
-
I have been both detained and suspended, actually.
-
I've been suspended twice in eighth grade...same month too!
-
hahaha i mastered the art of skipping school. i remember at my high school they would give students saterday school if they ditched a day. then, if you didn't go to saterday school you would then get in-house detention on tuesday, if you didn't go to in-house detention on tuesday you were suspended on thursday. that meant three days off from school! i almost didn't graduate from school because i hadn't attended enough hours, but my grades were too high for them to actually make me stay back a year.
-
Only during the sixth grade, often for not doing my work. I've once almost got detention later on, but got out of it by writing a phony apology letter. The suckers bought it and I was let off the hook.
-
Yes, when i got in a fight.
-
never but got caned a lot.
-
More than once.

On the first day of school my senior year, I wore a shirt and tie to school. As I had a full beard and was a big guy I was mistaken (by freshmen) for a teacher. I gave two of them detention... They showed. Because they're names were Not on the roster the teacher asked why they were there. Needless to say I was in detention the next day, but the teacher running it was so tickled by my joke she let me go after 5 minutes.
-
Nope. I was well behaved in school, and the few times I skipped a class, was never caught!
-
I did a couple times! Mostly for being late to first period...I never got to school on time! One time I got a detention for my friends passing notes...that was BS!
-
half because 1 of the helpers for children with "special needs" sent me and my friend in for 10 minutes
-
The only time was when our entire senior class got detention for a stupid class prank.
-
I was usually pretty good, but I did get detention on a few occasions. Usually for not doing my homework or being late with an assignment. I have also been suspended once, but that's another story.
-
Many times and expelled.
-
Yes, I have were so boring.
-
I had a brass name plate engraved to reserve my spot in detention hall, and at the "1st in line" chair next to the principal's office.
-
Yeah, the last time I had detention was in my sophomore year when I said "I don't give a f**k" to a sub, the next day the teacher gave me one lunch detention, and it was only for 20 minutes... worth it, but I thought I would have gotten longer.
-
yeah alot, but i never went. we had impossitions at school and if you got three of them you got detention!
-
No, I tended to get other punishments like the belt or lines instead.
-
yes ! had you?
-
Too many times to recall : ))
-
Yes. FOR THROWING A NOODLE!!
-
I never had after school, but I did land a full day of in school suspension
-
Detention was not an option where I went to school, it was too rural. Most kids rode the bus to get home and if they had detention they would have no way home. I lived about 15 miles from school for example. We got "licks" (meaning as ass beating) with a wooden paddle. It was very effective. I didn't get many.
-
So many times i could not recall them all.
-
Yes, my proudest moment was not turning up to a week of detention, being put on late report for a further week & turning up late to it every day. I think they gave up after that. (additionally I had been made a prefect… The idiots)
-
nope :) i almost got one when i was 11, but i cried, cos i was upset, and they let me off. strange lol.
-
no i didn't
-
yep 3 times for tardies and talking too much!!!
-
Too many times to count Im a badass! I've been expelled from my old school for breaking someones nose and violently lashing out they deserved it damn it!
-
Nope lol. I'm rather a goody good in that department. +5
-
Many times. +3
-
365 days late sir
-
Nope. I never got detention at school.
-
I even have gotten detention at work.
-
Oh yes many times. I used to have to write Imposition Sheets. My first ever was on the subject of Procrastination.
-
i went to school six days a week
-
Detention: many times, between chewing on pens to become a disturbance and a whole of other things I did back in the day, (I'm regretting them now.). In-school suspension: a whole lot more, but still for little things(esp. in middle-school) Out of school susp.: 1x ONLY, for calling the mother of another detention-student a very-racist name(I didn't know any better at that time, what the word I used, meant. But I do now.) And if this student is reading this article and knows me, I'm sorry about this. I said it to you in the apollogy card I had for you, and I'm saying it again to you now. However, if you remember straight, you finally accepted my apollogy many years later.
-
ha, i used to live in detention. i went to school when i felt like it and i guess they didnt approve...
-
I've always been one of the "Good girl" that gets recruited to do volunteer work. However, I did get one detention in grade 9...For forgetting to bring my bus pass a couple of times!
-
Me and my buddy Joe at the time I was eleven used to get them all the time. Then the older kids would pick on us in detention, so we quit getting them.
-
yeah ferrr talking and too many tardies
