Can an Aussie answer? I would think that Thanksgiving would be a lovely thing to celebrate- concentrating on all the blessings God has given us is a great idea. A much better American holiday to import than Halloween.

No. Although I like the idea of it, I do not think we need to adopt other nations traditions. If we need a new holiday then lets make our own! How about an OFFICIAL holiday for VE day?
