Yes, I have never been able to bring myself to eat yams or sweet potatos. They just look yucky to me.

Nope, if I had a problem with the food I was bringing, I wouldn't serve it to a guest. Basic rule of cooking.

My aunt is bringing some lentil-veggie dish most of us wouldn't touch with a barge pole. My mother-in-law will serve olives, and my grandmother is bringing a citrus-pineapple salad I'm allergic to. And my sister's making her own home-made cranberry sauce... without any sugar at all.
