I am not sure what the hourly pay is, but in my city it is a paid position and they hire unemployed and homeless people.
They are volunteers. Their 'pay' is a ticket to Heaven.....
I tried to get a bell ringer job in Pittsburgh...the Cpt Fullwood refused to pay me minimum wage...said it would take a month to get a paycheck...the pay is under the table and it is $2.99 an hour. Only desperate people need apply for 1975 wages.
i was a paid salvation army bellringer this year... you usually get paid min wage. i made 7.25 an hour (i live in ky).
